Sugar Glider Earrings

Handcrafted exclusively for SunCoast, these little sterling silver sugar glider earrings are so realistic you can actually see the animal’s unique facial characteristics from the profile! What a great gift for the glider lover!These earrings were handcrafted by a well-known Florida jewelry artist who specializes in designing incredibly lifelike animal images in sterling silver and polymer clay. Her work is treasured by animal lovers because of her extraordinary attention to the details of the animal. Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald from the Animal Planet’s “Emergency Vets” TV show, recently had the artist make several custom pieces for his office staff! Each piece is made by hand, so each one is truly an original work of art. The original design was initially modeled in polymer clay, with particular attention to detail and precision. Then the individual pieces are cast in sterling silver and carefully filed, polished, and detailed by hand to the desired high qualityfinish. The earrings are perfectly sized at 3/8 of 1-inch from the tip of the glider’s ear to the bottom point of the chin. These pretty studs will flatter every face style and the earring backs are surrounded by a durable plastic backing to keep them securely, but comfortably, locked in place on the earlobe. An occasional polishing with a soft cloth made for sterling silver will keep them looking shiny and brand new. Don’t have pierced ears or ear? How about using one as a little stick pin on a top, jacket, scarf, or poncho - after all, pins / brooches are all the rage in the fashion scene! Guys - pin them to baseball caps.
